The Bar Association of Baltimore City’s Young Lawyer Division (YLD) is formed to foster the discussion and interchange of ideas relative to the duties, responsibilities and problems of the younger and/or newer members of the legal profession, to aid and promote their advancement, to encourage their interest and participation in activities of the Association, to provide opportunities for its members to meet socially, and to further the purpose and objective of the Association as set out in its Charter.

The YLD strives to host monthly networking and community service events, with the goal of fostering a sense of community between the YLD members as well as within the City of Baltimore. Additionally, the YLD hosts annual programs and events such as the Holiday Party for Children Living in Shelters, Spring Social & Awards Ceremony, Mock Trial program,  the Breakfast with the Bench series, and more.

For more information about our upcoming events, volunteer opportunities and legal education programs, check out our Facebook page and now Instagram @babc_yld, or feel free to contact a member of the YLD Council to see how you can get involved!

The YLD is also active on Linkedin, which is a great resource to connect with other young lawyers in your practice area and Twitter for short up-to-the-minute notices about local YLD activities and events.
