The Bar Association of Baltimore City Current Committees

Did you know more attorneys get business from other attorneys than any other market segment? Joining a BABC committee will allow you to network with other attorneys while also providing opportunities to learn and develop the law. Assist in creating CLE content that pertains to your practice area. Be “in the know” to changes in the law and help disseminate that information. You even have the opportunity to be published. The BABC is always looking for articles to publish in the Barrister and, as a committee member, you can submit articles for publication. Your membership provides you the opportunity to participate in one or more BABC Committees:

Joining a Young Lawyers’ Division (“YLD”) Committee can provide you with meaningful ways to get to know members of the Bench and the Bar. You have the opportunity to encounter attorneys and members of the judiciary whom you may not have had the chance to meet. Our programs are varied and include educational, social, and public service events where you can meet friends, grow your network in the legal community, develop referral and mentorship relationships, all while giving back to the City of Baltimore and its residents. No matter how much or little time you have to devote, there is a place for you in the YLD. Our committees include:
