John J. Connolly is a partner at Zuckerman Spaeder LLP where he focuses on commercial litigation, professional responsibility, and representation of lawyers. He has written a number of articles about Maryland legal history and other Maryland law issues, and he has previously given talks about the Maryland Constitutional Convention of 1867, Maryland’s federal courts during the Civil War era, the history of habeas corpus in Maryland, and the representation of detainees at Guantanamo Bay.
