What is the Lawyer Referral and Information Service?

The Lawyer Referral and Information Service (LRIS) is a public service of the Bar Association of Baltimore City (BABC). LRIS was formed to assist the public in obtaining qualified legal counsel, to provide general legal information to the public, and to inform the public of other resources that may be able to provide assistance. We are the first Lawyer Referral Service in the state of Maryland to be certified by the American Bar Association.
