The BABC's Lawyer Referral
and Information Service is the only ABA Certified
Lawyer Referral and Information
Service in Maryland and one of few Certified across
the country. The LRIS receives over 20,000 inquiries
each year.

The BABC, and its
Young Lawyers' Division, produce several
publications, videos, legal handbooks, and CLE
materials, including:
- The City Bar Report
(The BABC's Newsletter
published in The Daily Record on the
second and fourth Tuesday
of the month)
- The Bar Association of Baltimore City E-News (monthly publications emailed to BABC members)
- Elderly Legal Rights Handbook
- Taking Control: A Legal Guide to Health Care and Related Services for Individuals Living with HIV Disease in Maryland (Copies of the Elderly Legal Rights and HIV Handbooks are available free of charge (pick-up or postage required)
